The staff of the Visiting Nurse Association of Wallingford, Inc. is comprised of professional, para-professional, clerical, and volunteer personnel. All personnel must meet the Agency's high employment standards. All direct service personnel must pass criminal and motor vehicle background
checks and drug/substance tests. All must remain in compliance with professional licensing and certification standards, are required to complete annual in-service training, and are formally evaluated at least annually.

Pediatric Nurse Practicioner
APRN to provide care to children from newborns to ages 18 years in a well child clinic setting two days per month. Services include assessments, physical examinations, immunizations, and referrals. Per diem position.

HOME CARE DEPARTMENT:

Health Aide/ CNA's
Certified Health Aides/CNA's and Homemakers to care for ill, elderly, or disabled individuals in their own homes. Day and evening hours available.

Per Diem Nurse
RN to provide direct care to diversified caseload of clients in Wallingford and surrounding areas. Flexible schedule weekdays; one weekend per month required.

Physical Therapist to serve as a member of the home care team providing direct care to diversified caseload in Wallingford and surrounding areas. Home Care experience preferred. This position allows flexibility in scheduling home visits.

Speech/Language Pathologist to serve as member of home health team providing direct service to diversified caseload of clients in their own homes and as consultant to home health agency staff. Completion of an approved program of speech pathology, current license to practice in the
State of Connecticut, and a minimum of three years of clinical experience in speech therapy required. Per diem position.
